J HACHA DE ZOLA, Faded.
Music Video, London.

J Hacha De Zola is a New Jersey-based artist, producing breathtaking, “dangerously delightful, whirling, and rhythmic” tunes — The Big Takeover. His music is an ode to strangeness, an invitation to dream and wander through dark, deeply poetic tales.

For his fifth album, East of Eden (Caballo Negro), J Hacha De Zola has asked me to make a music video for Faded, the opening track. The clip was produced in the UK, shot in a gorgeous derelict townhouse in the heart of London.

The Faded music video explores the paradox of the artist – in this case, a painter – being able to conceive the notion of absolute beauty without ever being able to fully grasp it or achieve it… Or at least not without the help of his muse.
